The Official Tennessee @ Auburn Series Thread (Fri. April 5th 7PM EST) (Sat. April 6th 4:30PM EST) (Sun. April 7th 2PM EST) (All Games On SECNET+)

I get the argument and fair point. I think the metrics still say that with 2 strikes you're more likely to get the run home stealing than via a hit. Burke has struggled at times swinging for strike 3.
You are spot on about some of BB’s 2 strike issues, but lately he has had really, really good at bats - battling like crazy. Plus, with that short CF fence on the plains? Blake wouldn’t have to really get a hold of it to watch it fly.

🤷‍♂️ We will never know.

Took Robin out but I just do not know how you plug him in 3 hole if he can be substituted. All the other guys 1-5 aren’t coming out.

Burke - BB.

Chapman pinch hitting for Villeneuve - Hit straight to 1B'er. 1B'er catches the ball for Chapman's out and tags the bag to get Burke out.

Tears - Ground out to 2B.

War Eagle leads 8-5. Middle of the 4th.

Auburn reliever #1 is at 49 pitches and 3 K's. Auburn pitchers have 6 K's on the day.

I like Reese pinch hitting for Robin. The double play was unfortunate.

C'mon Combs, throw up another 0!

Myers struck me as the terrible, but confident, pitcher who would luck his way through a few innings. Proving to be a a correct feeling.

Combs - Backwards K.

Base hit up the middle into CF.

Combs - K.

Combs - BB.

*Runners on 2B and 1B with 2 outs*

Combs - K.

War Eagle leads 8-5. End of the 4th.

Combs is at 46 pitches and 5 K's. UT pitchers have 9 K's on the day.
