The Official Tennessee @ Auburn Series Thread (Fri. April 5th 7PM EST) (Sat. April 6th 4:30PM EST) (Sun. April 7th 2PM EST) (All Games On SECNET+)

Auburn commentator says its a victory seeing Moore foul a ball off his leg and it turns to a 2 run double.. All I can do it laugh at these POS Homer commentators
They use the home team’s radio crew if there isn’t a SECN crew to work. It’s basically like if Wilkerson was calling the game

My wife is a huge Gamecock fan. I'm low-key rooting for Iowa.
My daughter and son in law are both South Carolina grads. He was on the football team and the biggest indignity is their surname is Spurrier. That school has gotten thousands of dollars from me but I refuse to wear their gear or cheer for them in anything!

Interesting nugget…with Nick Senzel in 2016…in all games…we had 21 HR’s. In 2017 we had 33. So what these guys are doing, is nuts.

Of course. I know that.
Probably better than me. I was 12 when Raleigh was hired. Was a huge fan, followed the games on radio back then since you’d never get these on tv besides CWS.

By year two of raleigh I passively checked our scores and followed the conference. That ran until 2019 when tony made a regional.

I started really paying attention again then. 2021 was my first full season back to my 12 year old roots.

I really really feel for the guys who managed to stay emotionally invested from 08-18. The highlight of that decade of misery were the Astros jersey throwbacks. Wish I managed to get one but I was a broke HS student lol

True. My sis is a gamecock and we got into an argument about it yesterday. Would have pulled for uscjr, but not now. I went to grad school at Iowa, so I guess I’ll pull for them. Not really a fan of them either.
was surprised to learn decades ago about the strength of Writers' Workshop at Iowa. Son considered Iowa City before deciding he was better suited for PhD route and to teach modern American lit

Honestly thought it was a dead program. Dead as Lady Vols basketball. It arose! Thank you Tony and company!

It’s miraculous. The blue bloods of SEC baseball have been the same since the turn of the century.

We’re the first team to really break in that wasn’t already there.
