The Official Tennessee @ Florida Series Thread (Fri. May 3rd Game 1 3PM EST, Game 2 after SECNET+) (Sat. May 4th 6:30PM EST SECNET+)

We’re 320 down the lines as well, same as Baum Walker. We hit 12-14 HR’s in a weekend at Auburn this year, we hit 10 vs UK this year in 50 degree weather, we hit 7 in a game vs State at Dudy Noble in 2022, we hit 5 in game 1 at OM in 2022. It is a tired excuse chalking our numbers up only to playing at a friendly park and it’s a really crappy excuse when our pitching staff is only like 4th-5th in the league this year in HR’s given up, why aren’t the opponents hitting them due to the elevation, short dimensions etc? The 2022 team led the nation in ERA while pitching 38 games in that same little league ballpark.

320-390-320 in the mountains is pretty small. They have every right to say that, it’s true.

But what I don’t like is the claim we can’t hit home runs anywhere else when teams don’t hit home runs against us in our place at nearly the pace we do. And we hit home runs everywhere but Omaha. Even cavernous Hoover.
Your entire essay is just agreeing with me lol

UF starter's day is done after 85 pitches and 7 K's. He struck out the last 5 batters he faces. Nice to see him not return to the mound. UF reliever #1 to the mound.

Moore - Ground out to the pitcher.

Burke - Backwards K.

Amick - K.

VOLS lead 4-2. Middle of the 5th.

UF starter at 10 pitches and 2 K's. UF pitchers have 9 K's on the day.

I wouldn’t sit him but I would be making him run poles in between every inning and then make him run some more between games and then take some laps around the hotel whenever we got back. And whenever he asks “can we stop now?” I would reply, “you didn’t want to stop whenever we told you to stop so we’re going to keep running since you like to do that.” Guarantee you he wouldn’t run through a stop sign ever again for the rest of his career.
You’re right, he’d probably just transfer...
