Luc said he’s not a fan of this teams antics while admitting he was on one of the most animated teams ever. I don’t know WTF he’s watching if he thinks this team is remotely close to his teams and himself. Eric Cain reminded him that nobody on this team has army crawled home and touched the plate with their index finger. Luc also quickly forgot barking at an ump after his HR at Vandy and inspecting his bat right in front of the HP ump.Feels like this must be residual “butthurt” by umpires from last season, because unless I’m missing something I haven’t seen a ton of attitude problems from this team. Maybe words are exchanged at the plate that I can’t tell from watching on TV, but if anything this team seems to be a lot more mild-mannered than last year’s team. Not sure which attitudes have been bad.
The only egregious calls IMHO was the Burke off bag and catcher’s interference on MO. Rest thought were borderlineMaybe, but these guys are on the level of the MS Valley State strikeout call last week. The Maui check swing call was egregious enough… then the balk and ejection… but calling that last one safe at first? They have to be trying to get suspended.
