Our pitching won’t be what it was the last two years. Every single preseason write up on us was basically “2022 line up is back, but pitching will regress.”

It’ll be fine, likely won’t be what we’ve been spoiled with recently though.

It’s always a nice problem to have whenever you have too many options for weekend starters. I could see them using one of the weekend days as an “opener” day. Let the starter go 3 or 4 innings of strong work and then let the next guy out of the pen do the same. Then all you have to do is get an inning or 2 from the regular bullpen guys.

Hope you are correct. I haven't seen a great option for a 3rd starter based off this weekend - much less multiple options. Z deserves another opportunity, but you have to hope there is another option or two in case Z just is not able to step up to the weekend starter performance.

I was expecting a little regression this season but when you have Frank coaching them, I thought maybe we would get 1 or 2 that would emerge in the off season. Still hoping
