I listened to a podcast earlier in week that indicated there were some "distractions" in the locker room and dugout in 2023 early on. You could tell early on with all the eligibility controversy and slow pitching starts.

Yep, after a brief stroll around Warren Nolan, habit, can’t help it…it makes this weekend seem a little bit different than what yesterday felt like. We’re fine a lot of new faces and scheduling this was a great move. Perfect for this team in my opinion.

I think most of us would have said 2-1 with a new team and pitching experimenting is just fine. Probably closer to 3-0 had an at bat or two gone differently. I do feel like we'll run off a ton of wins in a row going forward now and even some huge numbers on offense. Let's go! I just wanna know who's drinking a few with me?!?

RHP enters the game and is sitting 97-100 mph with his fastball, along with a nasty breaking ball at 82-84 mph. That's the third pitcher confirmed to have thrown 100 mph this weekend (Burns, Ellwanger, Snead).

Billy Amick, for the most part, has looked very, very solid for
@Vol_Baseball
this weekend. He crushes a triple to bring in two more runs for the #Vols to make it 5-3 in their favor. Amick looks like someone poised to have a monster season.
