VS, I have been going back and forth, over the last 2-3 seasons, trying to decide who my adoptive #2 is and I can’t decide between GCU or DBU?Speaking of Grand Canyon. Props to them.

Yeah, I’m feeling good about what we saw and I’m feeling really good about following that up with Beamer!!We’re going to be really good this year. Russel’s 4 seam had so much run on it that the ballpark’s pitch tracker was calling it a two seamer. I can’t wait to see what he can do once he gets a little more stamina built up in the coming months
Honestly, I'm excited by all the trannys(tip o'the cap to you cobbwebb). Folks expect big seasons from Amick and Peebles. I really want to see Snead. Wonder if he might become our closer at some point this season? As for Causey....won't lie...those side arm guys just never impressed me. Kinda gimmicky and just a change of pace for an inning or so, but to see him go that long and pitch that well surprised me. Know he gave up that extra base hit that plated 2, but from that point on, he was pretty good. Let teams get a good scout on him and then we'll know better what we have with him. What's really nice is that we have the talent and depth to handle injuries. When those guys get healthy and return to action, it's gonna be some fun. Even Burke looking like he's still in his funk doesn't concern me as much. We have options now if Burke needs to sit to get his head straight. Give Vitello credit. The dude can put a roster together.Assume you’re talking about Causey?
I’m wondering if Snead might eventually be stretched out to be the Sunday starter. Although, best case, that would be Dallas if he can round into form by SEC play. I’m sure it’ll be Zander to start the season and they’ll likely use it as a bullpen game.Honestly, I'm excited by all the trannys(tip o'the cap to you cobbwebb). When the got Snead, that was my first thought. Surprised me that Zander got the nod, but it does make sense. Vitello is definitely a players coach. He's going to reward Zander until he shows he can't handle the role.I’m wondering if Snead might eventually be stretched out to be the Sunday starter. I think you could see Causey, Dallas, or Schaefer on Sunday’s depending on how well Zechrist performs. I’m pulling for Sechrist but love the depth. Based on TV’s comments after the game, it sounds like Causey will be strongly considered for the Sunday role at some point.I think you could see Causey, Dallas, or Schaefer on Sunday’s depending on how well Zechrist performs.
