The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

What’s everybody’s midweek vibe on this game? The more I’ve thought about it, and through some very informative posts on this thread, I’m glad we ended up with the match up we did. I think we can win this game as long as the offense can score 24-28’points and the defense can get after Brady. Those are my two keys. Not to say if we do score 24-28 we will win, we can still score that and get beat but I like our chances if we do.
If we can get consistent pressure on TB, run the ball down their throats, and score touchdowns instead of field goals I think we have a shot. Pretty much the whole team is going to have to play the best game of their careers tbh lol

Folks give him a hard time cuz he don’t get fired up from time to time. I like that about him myself. He’s very collected IMO. We just can’t spot them 14 like we did the Chiefs. They’ll put us away

I like that about him as well. He’s a class act on and off the field. He scores and hands the ball to the ref. He doesn’t toss it. He’s so respectful and that’s why his teammates love and rally around the guy. He puts it all on the line just like McNair.

The logical part of my brain thinks we aren’t a good team. I that part of my brain says we ge smoked by 17 points.

The emotional part of my brain says that anything can happen. If everyone plays their part as well as possible, Titans by 6.

That’s my stance as well. I’m clinging to hope that the 2nd half of that game last weekend will somehow carry over to this game. Myself, I like the idea that we have an extra game under our belt. I’m a firm believer in momentum in sports and I think the way we ended that game last weekend we will carry it over.

As long as we don’t beat ourselves and leave us wondering what might have been, I can deal with a loss in that scenario.

Precisely. If Brady is on the field, they have a chance to score. So, if he's on the field he needs to be on his back.

Run Henry early and often. If Murray is healthy, bring him in late in the game when the D is worn down from trying to tackle Henry.

I think he’s got a ways to go before I’d be willing to make the McNair comparisons but personality wise and the way he conducts himself, I agree with that comparison

Believe it’s been announced Murray is out. Best way to beat this team is long methodical drives. If we can do that and end at least 3 drives in touchdowns and if we have to take 3 a time or two I can live with that. The offense has to give us a shot though.

Since Henry entered the NFL in 2016, the Titans are 12-0 when he has at least 11 carries. Tennessee is 7-13 when Henry plays but has 10 or fewer carries.

I'm not worried about the Pat's O. LeBau should have something dialed up. It out O that has me worried. Can Robiskie get out of Mariotas way this game

I know there aren't moral victories in the NFL but I do think this Saturday will be a good close game with NE winning it late in the 4th quarter. It will be a game the Titans can build on going into next season IMO

There's nothing to be ashamed of from losing to the Dynasty. I hope we win, but as far as I'm concerned, this season is a success in my eyes.

Per Pro Football Talk, we'll be playing our first London game next year against the Chargers.

It looks like we're tentatively scheduled for either the October 21st or 28th game.

So that also means the Titans' and Chargers' bye week will either be October 28th or November 4...so the bye being in either Week 8 or Week 9.
