The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Let Mariota do his thing. If we lose we lose, I honestly hope we don’t go into the game right and play like we have nothing lose

I know we need to limit possesions for the Patriots offense. But at the same time we need to be no huddle for Mariota. That's where he's by far his best at

Keeping Brady off the field would help out for sure, but I'd be willing to sacrifice chewing some additional time off the clock if it means we're able to move the ball at least somewhat consistently.

I agree. Going 3 and out isn't going to get things done. Mariota is a completely different player in no huddle.

If we can put up points I think limiting their possessions won’t become as much of a factor. Even if it’s a semi slow pace no huddle, similar to what Auburn does but we can change the pace of it, I think that will be enough to cause them problems.

Tom Brady: age 40

Marcus Mariota: age 24

It will be the largest age gap between starting QB in NFL Postseason History

As of yesterday, I also heard Brady was open to another extension lol the man will be out there playing with a walker before it’s said and done

Imagine if we beat them. Just imagine. Henry running hard, walker catching the duke, Marcus leading us down the field, Lewan punching someone late in the 4th, up by 3 scores.

Would be sweet.

Can anybody explain that fumble they took away where Mariota got blown up or was that just one of the worst calls ever? Forward progress? He wasn’t attempting to throw it he balled up and braced for the hit

He obviously wasn’t down lol that’s one of the craziest obviously wrong calls I’ve seen in my life

He’ll of a comeback but man Andy Reid is cursed

Forward progress was called and the network ref confirmed it

Forward progress on what tho? I don’t get it

I know what forward progress is when a guy is trying to get a first down or trying to out of his own end zone but never heard that brought up to take an obvious fumble

That wasn't the only obvious fumble that wasn't called.

It was a bad call. There were other bad calls. They blew it dead, right or wrong, that was the call. Not sure what more you’d be looking for.

They also didn't call an obvious fumble on the play where Kelce got hurt.

We are even IMO.

Whistle blew way before fumble, forward progress stopped. KC was actually lucky to not get a penalty there.
