I will never understand the hype around Levis. Anyone who watched him in games against teams with a pulse....... There weren't many.......... Saw how bad he could be. He's a guy that doesn't elevate the guys around him, he's a clip board holder in the NFL.

Edit to add: this franchise also isn't a great place for a young QB to come and develop.

It's really challenging to extrapolate anything from the college game to pros. Look at the top QBs in the league now? How many were absolute can't-miss prospects in college? Even the GOAT, Brady, was pretty much an after thought when drafted.
I have no idea what Levis will become. I don't like the pick based on how QB play is evolving in the NFL. But what he becomes has more to do with his future and less to do with his past.

Most of the best in the pro game elevated the play of those around them. I'm not sure the same can be said for Levis. He'll only get you as far as the supporting cast can carry him...... In the NFL those players just don't translate well.

I agree to some extent about the future...... Again a lot of that depends on scheme and coaching, I don't think we have been very good at helping our qb's with either the past couple of years. Hopefully this coach changes that.

I don’t think some of you read the article. It clearly stated they don’t know how Hopkins feels about flying southwest. So to pretend he’s the problem here, is absurd. The piece is just referencing what I assume to be an nfl standard of flying big time free agents private

I read Levis threw 3 ints in practice today, including 2 back to back.

I know it's easy to hate on the Levis pick, but let's not forget the year that Mariota threw virtually zero picks during training camp and everyone crowned him the second coming. Just saying, we talkin' bout practice here.

It also noted that it had not been confirmed that the Titans did fly Hopkins on Southwest, but that it was something Michael Lombardi said.

Amazing how many players this is happening too. Part of me feels bad for them because it is a dumb rule. Part of me wants to call them idiots for not following a simple rule and costing themselves massive amounts of money

It’s been reported and confirmed by multiple people that the NFL never clarified this rule and a significant amount of NFL players didn’t even know it was a rule.

Thanks. That’s interesting. Has the players union commented on it

They seems to have tried and helped the guys that didn’t bet on the NFL, hence the six games for this player and for Lions WR Jameson Williams and they’ve worked with the NFL to better educate the players over the summer.
