The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Simultaneously good and bad clock management on that last drive by the Titans. The use of timeouts was solid. Sometimes coaches are way too indecisive when to take timeout. Then, on the spike before the FG, they lined up quickly and got the job done. So often, players take too long in that scenario.

However, they could have had an opportunity for a TD if they attempted to get out of bounds. Really only tried once (and failed) on that drive.

I think the frustration with Willis is his inconsistency from drive to drive. He looks like a starter to start the game and on that 2 minute drive to end the half and then looks like a third stringer on that tight end pass with a clean pocket for an interception. Looks better than last year but not good enough.

He’s been holding onto the ball too long.

Spears might end up being the best pick from this draft class if he can stay healthy

And Willis has made progress, but Levis is already further along at this point than Malik was last year. Still early though, we’ll see how it plays out

Some of the young receivers surprised me, some talent in those UFA's we brought in. How many receivers do y'all think we keep? Going to be some tough decisions there.

Still worried about linebacker, really need to improve our corner squad depth wise.
