The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Spears might end up being the best pick from this draft class if he can stay healthy

And Willis has made progress, but Levis is already further along at this point than Malik was last year. Still early though, we’ll see how it plays out
Levis is definitely ahead but he takes chances and tries to make things happen when it just isn't there. Willis is holding onto the ball too long.

I think Levis will learn to tone down on that kind of stuff once he’s been in the league for a bit. And yea, Willis has gotta work on that internal clock once he drops back

2016 was a good draft. '18 was pretty good too. '19 wasn't terrible. '20-'22 has been pretty bad though.
With what we gave up considering our needs Levis is almost a must hit player for this draft to be successful. That was a huge gamble in my opinion. Also not sure running back was a pick of need. Side from number 1 those were the first three picks.

A long way to go but in my opinion Ran Carthon made some very John Robinson like gambles in his first draft.

Or ever, honestly. At this point I hope RT is QB1 until he retires. I have very little faith in either of our draftees, but I cannot wait to be proven wrong.

Tannehill is 35 now and coming off season ending ankle surgery. This is very likely his last season in tenneseee and I have my doubts he will make it through this whole season healthy. I’m fine keeping Willis and Levis as one of them will very likely be the starter next year.

A few things bothering me today about the season.

1) CB...... Not where we need it to be, especially where depth is concerned. We are working a guy out today.

2) LB....... Don't feel comfortable with what we have.

3) OL........ Depth wise we are in trouble. An injury or two and we are looking at about fiasco like last year.

Not an unreasonable take. I was honestly a bit hard on Levis and Willis in that comment. I actually thought Levis was pretty solid outside of that last pick he threw. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but Willis actually looked like an NFL quarterback when the first team O-line was in.

Maybe the Titans trade for Dorian Thompson-Robinson? The Browns cannot keep him with what they are paying Watson.

If Burks injury is serious, that is a huge loss. Teams will double Hopkins and stack the box vs Henry. I really hope he did not tear his ACL.

Well, that sounds about right. We really should have drafted a wide receiver.........I know we did, but the guy was basically an UFA caliber player. I mean with one of the picks we used on running back or packaged for Levis. Levis was a luxury pick I don't think we should have made.

Based on some of the stuff I've heard from camp, practices and now joint practices line is razor thin and the defense didn't look very good, particularly the secondary.

I hope they can get it together and complete for the division..... Looks like this is a 7 to 9 win team though.
