The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

If we were giving up an important pick I'd be worried, but a decent kicker for a 7th rounder isn't bad.
All draft capital is important for this team for the next couple of years. We've wasted too much the last 3 years. And you could have signed another guy at his level off the streets and lived with it.

Not like we are serious contenders for anything this year anyway. We are building for the future..... You do that through the draft.

We have an excellent shot at being division winners.
And I'm sorry but no 7th round picks have little value very few are more than practice squad players.

It is for a 7th rounder. Since when did you become a Ran hater? Is this a new development?

I just don't understand giving up any asset when you have come this far into the roster build with no clear kicking option. Just let the cuts happen and snag one.

Not a hater, necessarily, but not seeing much magic yet either. It's early, though.

They become depth pieces by and large. And when you can't get depth through the draft you get it in free agency and overpay.

And before pre season I might have agreed about having a shot at the division..... But I think this line is only marginally better than last year's. And we have little depth at any position on offense save running back.

It took a pretty big collapse for Jax to win the division last year. I'm not sure they're really any better. As long as the Titans stay healthy I think we are the better team.

With Kyle going on IR I think it's safe to say he's just not going to be able to help us much due to health.

If we cut Phillips after this season what would we be out?

I just don't think you can continue to waste the roster spot.

Forgot that Morgan Cox is still in the league and playing for the Titans. Has made for himself a pretty nice career with 5 pro-bowl appearances and named a team captain

Bought the Sunday Ticket again this year. Got sick of having Dofu crash on me. Excited for Game 1 and my daughter’s class decides to sing at church this morning, right during the game. Guess I’ll be watching later

My prediction is the Titans defeat the Saints in an entertaining close game.

The keys for a Titans victory are the Titans run the football with Henry.
Play action will be a factor if the Titans can run the football.

The Titans protect the football.

The Titans get pressure on Carr when needed. The Titans pass defense won’t have a challenging day defending the pass if the Titans defense can pressure on Carr when needed.
