The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

We are so brutal offensively

Tim Kelly is not better than Downing at all. Just crap situational awareness.

It’s a very frustrating flaw that the 2023 Titans offense is very anemic because the Titans have talented offensive players that them being a consistent good offense that consistently scoring touchdowns is achievable except it doesn’t happen because the Titans continue to find ways to fail much like Wile E Coyote or The Sentinels in The Replacements movie before they began to prosper on the Football fields.

Do we though? Our 2 best skill players are ancient in football years. Chigo took a huge step back this year. We are desperate for an elite playmaker.

Ok that’s me being ridiculous.

That’s why the Titans having 3 great offensive performances for points scored vs the Chargers, Falcons, and the Bengals feels like winning the Jackpot.

It’s been a very frustrating rebuild for the Titans offense after the Titans decided to not resign a reliable consistent great WR AJ Brown.
While Jones didn’t have a great season statistically in the 1 season he played for the Titans , he still proved very reliable.

They didn't chose to not resign him, they chose to not pay him.

Just saw this on Twitter to my point on Chigo..

I think he, Burks, and Phillips are all garbage.

This team needs about 20 draft picks.

As down as I was on this year’s team and in general since the Brown trade, I think we are in a good place going into the off season.

I think you can take care of most of our oline problems through free agency. Looking at a top 10 pick so Harrison, Bowers, or Joe Alt might be there. Either way that secures one spot unless we draft another guard. But I like what we have to build around.

QB on a rookie deal, a high end veteran WR, an elite 3 technique, a high end nose guard, a high end SS, a lot of decent options as a 3rd corner, decent LBs, and a solid rookie RB.

If we have a strong off season, we could easily be a playoff team next year

IF (big if) they don't screw it up again. With as much cap space as they will have it could be a quick rebuild.

I still can't believe we skipped drafting Mayer in the second round..... While it meant trading up for Levis who appears to be the starter for next season or two. But still.

Plainly stated our roster isn't conducive to the offense we run.... The fact we haven't changed it adjusted it is baffling.

Going into the game, Tennessee has allowed the 4th most sacks in the league (33, IIRC).

The leader - the Giants - has already allowed 54 sacks this year.

I get your point, but also the offensive line blocking and protection is so bad, I’m honestly not sure adjustments are really capable of doing/changing all that much with what’s on the roster currently.

Is that Brewer? He's usually pretty good with the snap but he's been terrible so far. Cost us a drive.....
