This is the only source of joy for us right now, keeping up with draft position and possible picks. As of right now they've got us 6th so we are hoping for Carolina, Chicago, Arizona, NE, and NYG to win some games. And then on the right you can see the top 6 players listed that would be on the board at 6.

So we may have our pick of LTs or Brock Bowers.

My argument is they're been to 1, and only have 1 more AFC champ game appearances than us.
I'd rather do what the Packers did for Rodgers for years, what the Pats did for Brady, what Indy did for Peyton so on and so forth. Protect the franchise.

More than us, has nothing to do with anything. They've been to more than the team that drafted Sowell, the LT (granted he's mainly been a RT) they were considering.

The Colts almost exclusively drafted offensive skill guys at the top of the draft when they had Manning. They didn't draft an OL in the first until 2011, near the end of Manning's tenure.

The Patriots drafted a mix of guys but never drafted an OT in the first round until Brady's next to last season there.

The Packers drafted defense over and over again until Rodgers got frustrated and left, not sure that's a strategy anyone wants to replicate. He's possibly the most wasted elite QB ever (Dan Marino being the other option).

Edit: I missed Solder in 2011, almost a decade into Brady's tenure.

If the Titans trade Vrabel to the Pat's for a 1st rd pick* IMO you go all in on Marvin Harrison Jr. & Brock Bowers with your 1st round picks. (This gives a boost on offensive playmakers.)

The Titans are supposed to have the most capital to spend in FA use that on overhauling the offensive line.

*IMO If your trading for a HC then the return needs to be more than one 1st rd pick.

Here is where I’m at. Vrabel is a solid coach who knows what he is doing with a competent roster. However, the mistakes of JR’s GM era are finally catching up to us. From draft misses to bad signings, we are in hell.

At the end of the day, the question Vrabel and Amy have to ask themselves is do they trust each other to rebuild in a world where they have $100m in cap space and a likely top 5-8 draft pick. All while likely having the QB of the future.

I’m hoping the answer is yes.

I would be ecstatic with us trading back to the mid teens for a 1st swap with another team plus more picks.
