The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Who are some picks you guys are interested in...I mean reasonable guys we are likely to draft?

I like the 6'7" wide out from Fl St.

Georgia center as a 3 or 4th rounder.

There's a corner out of Toledo I've seen some mention for us in mocks in a 3rd or 4th.

Personally I want to see us draft our center for the next 5 to 10 years in those rounds.

I hope the Patriots are dumb enough to send us a 1st and 3rd for Vrabel. Why get a pass catcher or LT when you could get both. I'd go MHJ>top LT>Bowers. Please God not another guard. No hating on Sko. He's gonna be great just not great positional value.

Also can't overlook trying to get Tee Higgins. WRs at his level rarely hit FA.

Rome O
Marvin Harrison
Keon Coleman

Given multiple QBs, pass rushers, LTs, and Brock Bowers I wonder how low we could trade back to and still get one of those 3 WRs.

I don't see Harrison dropping past 3 or 4. I think Rome could be gone as well depending on where we slot. I'd take the other Florida St kid, Wilson over Coleman.

Let me clarify, I'd take Wilson for our offense over Coleman. But if a guy with speed like Rome is there.........

I don’t think Wilson is more than a jump ball guy. We’ve already got that

What, you don’t want to trade a guy who has overachieved massively for the majority of his tenure for a draft pick?

Well had we not messed up the 2nd round pick last year with Levis, the idea of having two top 10 first rounders in the deepest QB drafts in decades does sound appealing.

For a single draft pick? I think we made the right call by playing it safe. But if New England had come at us with a package of picks including a first rounder and a combination of seconds/thirds, I probably would've pulled the trigger.

I think Vrabel is a good coach, but there are other good coaches out there. The Titans desperately need draft capital right now. Holes all over the roster and we only have 3 draft picks in the first 4 rounds next year. Cap space is really my only source of optimism atm.

Hypothetically, I probably would've been cool with a 2024 1st, 3rd, and 6th, and a 2025 2nd (or a promising young player). Don't think NE would've ever gone for that though. Their roster/draft pick situation isn't much better than ours.

Lol we messed up so bad

I still am not a fan of the pick given the other players that dropped that were available like Mayer.

And this upcoming class is so deep at QB having a top 10-15 pick is gonna provide great value at the position.

Now add in fact of trading Vrabel for another first, that’s an enticing scenario
