I have always wanted to see Lewis as a legit WR option... Now get in a Ace formation 20 personnel (2 backs, 0 TE) with Lewis in a slot and Henry in the TB spot to the same side... That would almost have to be treated like an RPO just on alignment alone... Could you imagine being a MIKE LB.. That would stretch you so much... Sooo many possibilities...
I like the wheel on that... An adjustment that I have seen is give a little shake tag for the crosser and it essentially creates a triangle read for your QB and vertically stretches the corner in cover 3... Also obviously good against man as well...I like what they do on their shallow cross (labeled mesh on there). They release the rb to the side the crosser is going. Weve been doing that for years to clear more space for the crosser by taking that inside lb out of the box. We dont normally use a wheel, just an arrow. But it still helps clean up the hi low read by expanding one of the lbs

I like that. Most teams set the back up as a check down where the crosser came from. I guess it would create a natural pick, but I prefer the way theyre doing it and taking that extra lb out of the box with the wheel.

It all who you want to attack. Your option does create some pretty good RPO ideas though.
Ok, so being in 20 personnel in ace.. I mean think what that creates with a RB in the slot... Jet motion Hip motion (to me that is cross the center and come back in the inside or outside hip of tackle)... Along with motion either run a out by the RB with a inside zone or a vertical kind of pop pass RPO with an outside zone type play... I mean typically for us we don't see very many fast LB's do anything stretching him would be money.Give me more detail on what youre thinking here? I am looking into using a trap rpo where we motion the back into the flats and read the OLB. If he runs with it qb runs trap. If he stays home, we just toss it into the flats to our rb which is typically our best athlete.
We run a lot of stick, snag, and 3 level flood. So our back gets the ball in the flats a lot.
Yea I like that. I am wanting a shot play vs Cov 2 or 4 in the deep middle... Any suggestions?Ive been playing with something lately out of 20 ace. Taking the H back into the flats. Reading the man over him and having the rb run a seam from the backfield to that same side.
Thought being to expand the flat defender and then hit the rb over his outside shoulder moving away from the MLB. Of course if the flat player doesnt expand, we will just take the easy money in the flats to the h.
The same basic premise as the run n shoots go route, except from a different personnel group.
