The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Every caled on sports radio in middle TN sure has been annoying about it.

No bro, he doesn't need time. You can't fix stupid. His OL or WR or whatever cope you use to excuse him has nothing to do with the fact that the dude is an idiot that continually makes bad decisions and is incapable of protecting the ball.
You could put Peyton Manning or Tom Brady in this offense with the same offensive line and the outcomes wouldn't be much different outside maybe the Bears game.

How can you not think it's connected? He knows he's going to get hammerd 5 seconds after the ball is snapped.
He's always been like that. He did it in college and he's doing it now. It's some of the most brain dead **** Ive ever seen at this level.

I'm not saying he's not rushing his throws because he knows he's going to get smoked, I'm saying he is a dumbass that would make stupid decisions regardless.

You just answered your own question.

When a QB is in fight or flight mode before the ball is snapped he will suck at decision making. That leads to the big mistakes we are seeing. Every QB in the NFL faces that on every play. The Titans are running an O scheme that gives him options underneath to get the ball out before the rush can arrive. He also has the option to change the play if he sees a blitz coming. NFL QB's have about 3 seconds to get the ball out or be on the run.

He recognizes none of those things about himself or with the defense. The game has not slowed down for him despite being a starter in the NFL for his second season and two seasons as a starter in the SEC. Which is why many of us have said that Cally has his work cut out for him.

These are same people who thought Vrabel was somehow holding him back or incapable of developing a QB

Geez. Can the right half of the line block anything?

I think the commissioner could let NFP and Radunz use actual shotguns and the opposing defense would still be able to get through untouched.
