No pass rush......Flacco will carve you up. Interior D line not getting any penetration...... The edge rushers are what they've always been, just mediocre.

Most of the point of screens and dump offs, strategy-wise, is to try to curb the defensive pass rushers aggressiveness / make them have to hesitate or think rather than just pin back their ears.
And that’s one of the reasons you see teams sometimes decide to run it on third and über-long. If you catch them off guard looking for the longer pass, it can turn into a really big play.
