The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Jon Robinson is going to interview for the Jets GM position.

"Assembled one of the best rosters in the league" on being fired, "a move that floored the league."

Hmm that's weird, they left out the reason he got fired, making one of the worst trades of all time.

There should be some decent FA/trade options at QB this off-season.

A-Rod does have a house in Franklin for what it's worth and he won't be nearly as in demand as he would have been in year's past. That being said, I don't think he comes here. I think he goes across town to the Giants or goes to Las Vegas.

Sam Darnold will probably be looking at a decent sized bag after a very good 2024. Not sure I want to hand out a fat bag to a a guy that was available for dirt cheap a few months ago. But a Baker Mayfield type of contract wouldn't be terrible, and would give us an out if he turns back into a pumpkin.

I think Matt Stafford is probably cut this off-season. And he seems to make the most sense for us if we could convince him to play for a rebuilding franchise.

Justin Fields brings youth and promise from his performance this year, but it was a small sample size and I don't know that he is a good fit for what Callahan wants to do offensively.

Geno likely is cut too. He's a solid, reliable vet and shouldn't cost a ton. He makes a lot of sense too.

Finally, I think the Falcons trade Cousins. He is only 27.5 million in dead cap if they trade him before June 1 and 12.5 million after June 1. He would be a good bridge QB for 1 season.

Honestly, Minnesota needs to keep Darnold and look to unload McCarthy.

However, Minnesota is in good spot because they don’t have to rush McCarthy now.

Bench Levis already. This team is at the verge of turning toxic. He's just so bad. It's beyond time.
