The problem is, a GM doesn't want to miss.

What if Ward is Daniels this year, or Burrow, or Mahomes, etc. There's a reason QB's go quick (look at last year with Williams, Daniels, Nix and Penix)

The more I think about the more I think we're gonna take a QB. We are a QB needy team, it is very rare for a QB needy team to NOT take a QB #1. I think it's a Sanders/Ward toss up and we'll draft whoever has the better combine.

Not to mention a good QB can cover up a sub-par OL. Also the GM is from KC I assume he is going to go all in on Trey Smith.

A team like my Giants might trade up with their first and second round picks and maybe a fourth rounder too. Possibly a pick or two in future drafts too. If they take a QB, it won't be Sanders. With two high 2nd round choices, they could set themselves up well with the right picks. Borgonzi will be much better than Carthon

I don’t want either QB, but I couldn’t imagine going oline 3 years in a row

I also like Latham okay so far, but agree with your main point that investing 3 straight firsts in the OL is too much

Same here. I saw a lot of Levis in Ward, careless decision making at times. I know they can coach it out of some guys better than others. Would rather go transition FA with a Dart/Ewers later. Dart is very interesting to me.

If they trade back, they will have the extra picks, so they can take a chance on Dart.
