The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

The point remains. You are missing what little football there is in a year because of some silly self-imposed exile. Have fun I guess.

I do have fun, thanks for your concern. My Sundays are free and sometimes productive because I stopped watching folks who "protest during the flag"

When he says "injustice in my community" does he mean The Governors Club or other areas of Williamson County where houses start at about 800K?

You think the majority of poor wannabe gangstas in the James Casey projects who would just as soon shoot you in the face as shake your hand give a **** about a football player worth 7 figures. They'd like to catch him taking a knee over in the bricks and pistol whip and rob his ass faster than CJ2k

Good point. I was hoping this protest stuff was going away. I took a year off from the NFL last year due to this. Guess Casey will get a fine every week and we move on.

No it just doesn’t do any good. He’s a good guy who does a lot for people. That’s a better way to “protest”

I don’t support it because most of it came from Michael Brown which was based on a complete media lie (hands up don’t shoot and the idea that he was shot in the back).

But it does good. NFL players have raised tons of awareness. Even though I believe it’s misguided

Jason Whitlock had a solid commentary on this on Friday. His answer is simple: you protest during the anthem, you are suspended for the game. Period.

Isn't he in a contract year? Ship him off for some picks or someone who is greatful to be in a country where you can play football and be a millionaire. Instead of taking a knee why don't they take some groceries to the poor of Nashville

They do. It’s also not an either/or thing

I'm out on the Titans/NFL this year. Casey's comments and plans put me over the top. They or anybody on here won't miss me anyway. I've had enough with players disrespecting our country, military, flag, anthem, people of other races besides theirs, etc. Drawing attention to personal views of cultural issues in a team game in a sport that is just entertainment is as self centered and defeating as it gets.

For God's sake....can you get anymore snowflake? So because ONE guy on the team is doing this, you're going to stop watching?

People like you are as ridiculous as anyone in this whole thing, and personally I say don't hurt your hand patting yourself on the back for being such a good boy. I can only imagine how utterly sheltered and pampered your life must be if a dozen players out of 1700 kneel during the anthem causes you this much distress.

Just signed Lewan to a five year extension worth $80 million, with $50 of it guaranteed. Richest OL deal in NFL history according to Adam Schefter.

Lewan got paid big time. Not sure how we’re going to be able to afford Mariota, Lewan, and Byard in a couple of years though
