Dear Lord! Why is it that every game I watch has a weather delay? Am I doing something wrong??

I mean I get it if there is a legitimate safety concern , but in many cases it seems extreme. I can’t decide if it’s just a good policy to ensure public safety, or if it’s just another example of the wussification of America.

what? A question in a message forum where people ask questions and give opinions about the Titans - Dolphins game, which is currently in a weather delay due to lightning strikes nearby. Where a question was asked as to whether the “lightning policy “ at sporting events is an overreaction or justified? Oh the horror!....speaking of overreactions.

Lol sure, that's why you had to throw in "wussification of America". To which I find that very humorous, a person sitting on their ass watching from the comfort of their home and complaining because OH THE HORROR a weather delay might just be a symptom of wussification themself.

So in the last 30 years or so we don’t live in a softer , even wussier society than we used to? It was an honest observation/ question as to whether or not the lightning policy is justified or just another example of the fact that we live in a much softer society than that of previous generations. The “oh the horror remark” was not aimed at the weather delay but rather your insinuation that somebody had dared to bring up whether or not the weather delays may sometimes be an overreaction. Of course I’m sitting on my ass watching it from the comfort of my home. I guess I could have gone to Miami and toughed it out with the “real fans”, or maybe even go sit outside and watch it in the rain, but again the “oh the horror “ remark was aimed at your overreaction, not the delay itself. Not sure why your panties are in such a wad over that chief, but I hope you have a great rest of your weekend .
