The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

So guys as we near the end of this third season, are we still on board with Mularkey? No doubt he has changed the attitude and culture here but do we believe he can get us to the next step in our development?

The players seem to like him and play hard for him, I just think he needs to hire a better/more creative OC. I just can’t help but look at McVey in Los Angeles and wonder if we’re getting ”Fishered”. But, the fact of the matter is, he’s winning. Can’t really complain until that stops, like nerd said.

However, I have little faith that we will ever win anything of significance with Mularkey. My gut says we will totally bomb it under his watch at some point with a 5-11 or 4-12 type of season, which I don’t think he’d survive.

I am legitimately curious as to how he’d do as our play caller though.

Crunch time. 2-2 or better means playoffs. Then they can work on the missing pieces in the off season. Doubt they let Robiskie go if they make it in. Got to hope he just gets better and stops with the silly formations and telegraphed play calls.

Definitely has some formations that telegraph plays. If I can pick some out then obviously NFL DCs can see a lot more.

They signed Luke Stocker today after his release from TB. Said he can also play FB in situations as well as TE and H-back. Moving away from Fowler it appears. That may help the offense become a bit more versatile. Should help the running game.

I think we underestimated how much were actually going to miss Anthony Fasano on offense.

I really like the Stocker pickup. Also great to hear we might have Matthews back this week.

I think you're right, I really wanted us to bring Fasano back. Maybe we've lucked into a younger and probably cheaper version.

A lot head-shaking, surprise and "that's crazy" comments in the Titans locker room once news dropped that Roger Goodell got a $200M deal.

Just was on ESPN’s page.

Fowler was cut, I bet we'll see a lot of Stocker as he learns the system now.

Agree. Not many pure fullbacks left. Most teams use the better blocking TE's with mobility for the purpose now since they can do other things as well.

Need to pick up a couple wins out west tomorrow and next week. Good opportunities. Peterson is probably not playing tomorrow for the Cards per an ESPN report.

Nothing is guaranteed but looking ahead:

Ravens and Bengals both at home.

Followed by two road games @Pitt @Indy

Make it out of that 4 game stretch 3-1. 🤞

Last leg of season sets up nice. Texans, Rams and Jags at home and only road games *should* be games that we win @Arizona @49ers
We were 4-3 when I made this post.

Since we've gone 4-1 and now sit at 8-4.

With only 4 games remaining.. if we split away games and win home games we'll go 3-1. Would then put us at 11-5 and firmly in the playoffs and Division champs IMO

Also a home playoff game which would be amazing
