The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Sheesh that was ugly.

Bye week coming at the perfect time. Could be getting way ahead of myself here, but it might be getting close to time to shake things up on this coaching staff. Robiskie is awful.

Robiskie sucks but Mariota is obviously nowhere close to 100 percent so he's kinda hamstrung, no pun intended.

No kidding on the bye week. Ravens, Bengals, Steelers, and Colts the next 4 games. Got to get healthy.

Nothing is guaranteed but looking ahead:

Ravens and Bengals both at home.

Followed by two road games @Pitt @Indy

Make it out of that 4 game stretch 3-1. 🤞

Last leg of season sets up nice. Texans, Rams and Jags at home and only road games *should* be games that we win @Arizona @49ers

Everyone sees Cleveland and assumes we should have hammered them. That wasn't a great matchup for us though. We're a running team and they're good at stopping it. Let's correct some things, get healthy, and play better in two weeks.

I don’t disagree regarding Cleveland and how they match up with our philosophy, but it’s our lack of ability to adapt that concerns me. We have the talent to open things up when needed, we just don’t. We are entirely too dependent on the running game, and I really don’t know why. It was understandable when VY and Jake Locker were playing QB, but now? With the best young passer this franchise has had since probably Warren Moon, a top 5 O-line, and a group of receivers (including Walker) that aren’t chopped liver for the first time in 15 years? I expect a little more flexibility and creativity.

Robiskie is garbage, and if this keeps up much longer, I will say the same for Mularkey.

Time to heal and retool with the bye. The game plans have pretty much sucked lately and the execution has been inconsistent on both sides of the ball. That needs to change to make the playoffs.

He now don't make fun of my best fantasy player. Almost guaranteed 20 points per week
no s***. Ride that one as long as you can.

Last week my son and I were talking and he said he needed a K for the bye week of Lutz. Started naming them off and Succ's name came up. I told him "yeah, just get him. He'll do for a week". Now I look like a genius to him.

Yeah, last week Mariota was like a statue setting back there and picked Indy apart. (306 Yards passing) this week the Browns hasn't stopped anyone throwing the ball and what do the Titans continue to try and run it between the tackles and it up with 2nd & 3rd and long situations.

Last week Eric Decker had close to 70 yards receiving this week he was thrown at only twice.

With these receivers especially after Davis gets back I think we have seen what Mariota can do throwing the ball its time to look at throw to set up the run and not the other way around.

On the injury front Mularkey says Cyprien and Davis will both be ready to roll against the Ravens. Murray has a bruised shoulder and Walker has a bone bruise but could play depending on his pain tolerance.

I wonder if he originally planned to go like this and was afraid the League would fine/suspend him?

Also solid haha I told my fiancé I needed a chucky mask to go with my orange coach’s polo so I could go as Jon Gruden, the next Vols head coach lol

The door was just kicked wide open for the Titans as long as Mariota stays healthy. Watson tore his ACL in practice today. Don’t want to see anybody injured, wish him a speedy recovery.

Now, it’s there for the taking. Go get it
