The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Can we actually get any value there?
Doubt it. Edge rushers are pretty plentiful in the draft and FA. He's pretty good, but far from elite.

I think he eventually gets cut. He's gonna be forced to take a pay cut anyways, but he'd probably rather do it on a winning team than take a pay cut to stay here.

But maybe some team values him with a late round pick.

Derek Carr is my new hope for 2025 QB. He should be decent enough for us to get a good read on Callahan's offense. And our schedule is pretty favorable, so if he plays well enough, we could be a dark horse for the playoffs.

We should still trade out of 1 though and grab an extra 1 next year so we can grab our future QB in the 2026 draft
Saints are keeping him

Just don’t understand not making moves for proven playmakers. Especially when they’re that cheap.
I am sure SF didn't advertise what they would take for him, just that Washington called to find out. Nobody really knows what it will take to get a playmaker from another team. But....teams looking to make a deal are making calls and finding out. I still wonder why teams pick up the phone when the eagles call. It seems they are regularly fleecing the rest of the NFL when it comes to trades.

Titans are a loser franchise until they prove different. No playmaker

$17 million for Debo and absorb his remaining salary? No way.

He aint that good and if he was unhappy in SF............ya think he'd be happy in Nashville?

Eventually we have to pay for someone. Top ten in cap space and probably have the worst WRs in the league

18th highest contract at his position. Worth it

Ridley, Boyd, Hopkins.........and nothing to show for it. Not even close to being the worst in the league.

Ridley is back. Resign NWI, draft a guy in the 2nd or 3rd (if we trade down and get extra picks) and get a mid level FA.

get better through the draft and forget about "flashy" FAs.

Ridley is a very good number 2. NWI is a good number 2. Maybe we get something in the draft. But yeah, the last 2 years we’ve probably had the worst WRs in the league

Tannihill, Rudolph, and Levis would be Pro Bowl QBs on other rosters with good WRs ........... Ok . now I get it

Poor QB play doesn’t mean our WRs are good. They’re still bad. You’re moving the goal posts and trying to change the argument. We have really bad WRs
I ain't saying our WR core is Irving and Harper or Swann and Stallworth.......but it's not the worst in the NFL.

I'd say top half of the league at the beginning of last year.

This year, as of now, it would be in the bottom half, but not the worst.

Deebo wasnt a Top 50 PFF receiver last year when he played....

And he misses a good bit...

He's a good idea as a 1 year rental for a team in their championship window. The Titans arent in that window....
