Giants signing Wilson makes likely means they saw the writing on the wall. Titans are taking Cam Ward.

I'm sure there is a package that would entice TN to trade out, but it would take at least two 1's from NYG and probably three 1's from anyone else, cause the Titans would likely miss out on Hunter or Carter if they move further than 3.

Can’t see the Giants doing it now. Maybe the Saints, but probably not. I don’t think people really see Ward as worth a haul.

Not wearing the Oilers throwback this season when you are Drafting a QB with the #1 overall pick is just a stupid move in regards to merchandising, sports cards with Fanatics/Topps regaining NFL rights etc... when the entire NFL fan base will have their eyes on you the way it did with Caleb Williams and the Bears last season.

I'm cool with it, but I hope they don't default to light blue jerseys and navy pants. I really hate that combo, looks very Arena football or UFL or FCS. Why they always seem to pair it with the navy pants I really don't get, it looks so bush league.

I never knew uniforms were a hot button issue until I started reading VN. Even now uniform passion catches me off guard.

They need a backup QB. Value wise, its similar to the Sam Howell and Kenny Pickett trades last March.

Maybe Jerry has other plans. But they need a back up QB.

Levis may not be talent wise what those two were either....

In general I don’t get their aversion to the white pants. They look better with literally every jersey than either shade of the blue ones.

Usually they aren’t for me. I just think ours genuinely suck. I prefer cleaner looks. The Titans would do themselves a big favor if they would just drop that hideous gray from the shoulders and sleeves and go with a solid color jersey.

Blue and white/navy and white is one of the easiest color schemes in existence to appeal to the eye, and the Titans somehow haven’t figured that out in over a quarter century. They don’t need all the flames/swords/trim and extra crap.

I’m concerned we are taking a guy who may not have been a top 5 QB drafted last year.

If he had actually, physically come out last year (as in straight to the NFL from Washington State), he wouldn’t have been a top 5 QB taken. But the people thinking he would’ve slipped that far after the season he just had at Miami are crazy.

I agree. If we can’t find a trade, I think you take the chance, but it’s concerning

That would’ve worked too. I’ve heard rumblings (mostly just fan theories) that they’re taking them off the shelf for the next couple of years and gearing up for a total rebrand when the new stadium opens that will incorporate much of the old Oilers look.

I hope there is some truth to that.

Levis' issues aren't arm talent issues. He's more talented than either IMO. Levis' issues are between the ears.

Point remains, those two are better QBs than Levis and would generate a more premium draft pick. Of course, Jerry is dumb so who knows.....

I think this is a great point that is so often misunderstood or just flat out ignored. I would rather have a great QB than a great arm or great athlete. Manning and Brady were great QBs and each had a good arm. But their greatness came from preparing relentlessly and working on their craft.
