I don't know how excited I'd get about it. If he is picked up, it'll take time to learn the offense and develop chemistry w/ Hasselbeck. I wouldn't think he'd do much of anything until the last quarter of the season. Plus, he's in the last year of his deal, so I'd say giving up a 3rd for him is particularly unwise.

We need help, but it's really tough for WRs to contribute immediately. I think I'd rather just see how Avery pans out first, although I wouldn't hate Lloyd coming over, either.

Just win, baby.

I would agree, but it's not like many of our other guys have THAT much of a head start (compared to most seasons).

No way I'd give up a 3rd but I don't think we'd have to. We'll see what happens.

Not looking ahead, but a noteworthy mention is next year's opponents.

2012 home opponents: Patriots, Jets, Bears, Lions, Colts, Jags, Texans, one AFC North opponent TBD (it'll either be the Ravens or Steelers, depending upon where each team finishes in division standings).

Holy crap, what a great (and difficult) home schedule.... Won't be missing any home games, if I can help it.

Away schedule: Colts, Jags, Texans, Packers, Vikings, Bills, Dolphins, AFC West opponent TBD (either Raiders or Chargers)

Tough schedule.

This has to be the #1 SOS. Thanks for posting... not even looking forward to next season now lol

Yes, I had the great op of drafting Brandon his rookie year so I've watched him for many years. I even kept him as a late round keeper the next year. And he burnt me. A few years later when he was at Was I drafted him again. Yet another dud year. Last year was a great year for him but its the only one of all his seasons.

If you're trying to defend this this guy with stats from 1 year after 9 in the league, you clearly had a lobotomy early in life.

Haha way to pick a stat that tells you much more about incompletions than drops. Way to also ignore the fact that Nate Washington dropped 12% of his passes from 2008-10, one of the worst rates in the league. Way to not actually refute anything I said. Nate Washington definitely does have better hands than Brandon Lloyd...I promise...

Looks like I'll be watching the Texans/Ravens game online. Was really hoping it would be on TV. Knew there was a good chance that the Cowboys/Pats game would be on TV but surprisingly it ended up being the Bucs/Saints. Weird

Go Ravens.

And I hate to say it... Go Cowboys.

As if pulling for the Ravens wasn't bad enough.

Texans got stuffed on 4th and 1 at the Ravens 20

Come on Ravens!

Would be nice to be in 1st place of the division even if it's momentarily.

Scoring summary...

7-0 Ravens
7-7 Tied
10-7 Ravens
13-7 Ravens
14-13 Texans
16-14 Ravens
19-14 Ravens

Been a decent game so far. Hopefully the Ravens can pull it out

Touchdown Ravens. Up 26-14 with 4:04

Looks like the AFC South is going to go 0-3 today

3-2 Titans
3-3 Texans
1-5 Jaguars
0-6 Colts

Good day for the Titans

Division battle could come down to next week, I like the fact we've had an extra week to prepare.

Ultimately we have 1 team to beat to get in the playoffs this year. If we don't, we have no one to blame but ourselves. This is about as easy as it gets in this league. Hopefully we can rise to the challenge next week.

Setting up nicely. Hope they can take advantage of it. Beat Houston and two game lead on them with two more games at home that are very winnable.

Brandon Lloyd one-handed catch vs. San Diego 10/9/11 - YouTube

The Denver Post reports Broncos WR Brandon Lloyd was told he did not have to report to the team's facility today at Dove Valley, an indication a trade is near. An NFL source said the St. Louis Rams appear to be the team in line to acquire Lloyd. It would fit as former Broncos HC Josh McDaniels is the Rams' offensive coordinator.

This is a excellent op for him. They need decent WRs badly so its a perfect situation. Early reports says Stl will prob give up a mid round pick next year.

According to ESPN fantasy, he's been traded. This is what Tim Tebows fantasy prediction says:

Tebow will make his first start of the season Sunday without No. 1 receiver Brandon Lloyd, who has been traded to St. Louis.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the St. Louis Rams have officially acquired WR Brandon LLoyd from the Denver Broncos. The Rams give up a 6th-round draft pick in 2012 that could become a 5th-rounder depending on Lloyd's pass receptions
