For me, it’s not that you lost this series, it’s that you lost it after dominating game 1, and having the pen stacked in your favor for game 2 and 3. It was there for the taking and we didn’t take it. Need a bounce back in a big way in our revenge series against KY.

We only really have a trip to cocky land.

Hoover kinda home turf for us after last couple of years.

50/50 on NCAA giving us a host, or short trip to a small school.

We could still get another five weeks of Vols baseball. Low expectations moving forward.

Wish we had another right hand hitter heat up late to provide more balance.

I don’t think our fans are going to be nearly as active in Hoover this year as the last two

15-15 is not hosting without winning Hoover and even then it’s not likely.

I got tired of researching but going back to 2010, so far I’ve found 3 occasions where an SEC team hosted with 17 league wins or less ; State at 16-14, UF last year at 15-15 and Scar at 17-12.

RPI is currently 21 for the Vols. 6 games left.. 3 against #1 RPI Kentucky, and 3 against #3 SC. No one is going to care about OOC wins or losses when you have those opportunities in front of you.
