What do you think bama would do to Oregon? Answer: pound it. They wouldn't be running a read option and running the backs across the formation. That is how plays get broken up early, not by running straight ahead behind a big line. We are not taking advantage of our line.

Alabama has comparable team speed to OU. Also, Bear Bryant has been dead for thirty years. Saban would run his offense which, BTW, is NOT - and never has been - to "pound the rock."

Notice, first play of the 2nd half was Neal behind RG and RT: the strength of the Vol O-line. The play gained 1 foot. Run that that three times and UT punts on 4th and 9.

So, the difference would be?
