I noticed late in the 4th they switched to 4 down linemen. Maybe Pruitt took over play calling?

Hugh Freeze. Call him today. If Fulmer won't do it, assume that he planned this all along hoping for a Barry Alvarez scenario, send him packing along with JP, and call Hugh Freeze.

I think Jeremy Pruitt is a very good football coach and an elite defensive mind. Is he the best "Head ball coach at Tennesse? I dont know anymore than the rest of you but damn. We should have won fairly easily. I like that he's an old school real ball coach kinda guy but damn put on a shirt instead of a smock and and at least give theimpression that you're a professional

I think that old school coach is part of the problem and you are seeing it on the field. This generation will just lay down on you and laugh at you while doing it if you give them any negative feedback.

He’s not a very good football coach & MOST certainly not an ELITE defensive mind. He was a decent coordinator that got more credit then he deserved. It appears he benefitted greatly from being under very good head coaches. Good football coaches DO NOT lose in year two to a vastly inferior talent wise GA St team at home. This is a sun belt 2-10 team last year that out rushed us. This is a crushing defeat, a program changing type loss. Maybe the coaches & team shock the world & actually respond by winning the rest of them (lol) Going for it on every 4th down. GA St wanted it more today, their coach wanted it more today & it showed early. Very unimpressive showing for Pruitt & Co...makes him, the program & AD look really bad. Expect LOW attendance next week. And to think this clown called out the fan base last year for low attendance to the O&W game....he hasn’t seen low attendance yet but it’s coming & hell's coming with it!

In his presser was mostly excuses! Not experienced, not lining up properly, turnovers, etc. To borrow a word from Pruitt, WELL, who is responsible for HIS EXCUSES? WITH THE DIFFERENCE IN TALENT LEVEL there is NO EXCUSE FOR THIS PERFORMANCE! A coach who failed, END OF STORY!!!

Certainly not a negavoll. Biggest sunshine pumper optimist Tennessee fan you will ever meet. The truth is we came into the game thinking this was a tune up game. Certainly not flawed thinking. I would have thought the same thing. However, when you see it's a dogfight in the first half shorten the rotation and play your best players. Playing the metagame long game theory at that point is still reasonable but you still had cause for concern. The season is not lost to win 6 games and go to a bowl but in my 41 years I cannot remember a more demoralizing or embarrassing loss. Very little emotion or fire that I saw.

He may not care. But Tennessee Football is life to me. Hes Alabama and always will be. Hes got to go.

When I put aside the emotion of it all, I just want to know what the hell this team did the last 8 months? The defense is slow, soft, and about as aggressive as a teddy bear. Chaney’s play calling was so freaking basic that it was backwards at times. JG looked like it was the first game he’d ever played. On top of all that, there was no fight whatsoever.
It’s almost like the whole damn team including staff never showed up for anything football until today. That was a 2-10 team that we paid almost a cool million to come and play and we look like this??

Worst loss Tennessee football loss in my 49.5 years of life. This is going to be a long, long year; might be the worst year in the history of Tennessee football. Abysmal performance from the coach to the staff, to the players. Beginning of the end for Jeremy Pruitt and the AD.

I understand, I thought he was too but after Missouri lighting us up in Neyland, Vandy’s air raid in Nashville & now GA ST he’s convinced me he’s average at best.

Never saw any fire from this team. How can you not be ready to play this game? So Nick Saban lost to a terrible team in year one. I get it but this is year two with a top 15 talent roster according to 247sports. Inexcusable
