I'm willing to bet a clip board just hit the wall in the locker room. That said, good game just didn't close out good. Settled too much for long shots and got sloppy, guarantee that changes. All in all, they played good.

No not to much to ask. But is it too much to ask of people that don't contribute otherwise to the boards to not just show up on game days and complain constantly?

There was plenty to complain about. You can't really blame people after that uninspired play.

I look at UT basketball and football much more objectively now than I did when I was a raving lunatic. I still will watch every game and pull for UT. But I no longer get my hope up at the beginning of every year that this or that player or that this year things are going to be different. UT's administration is not like Fla or Alabama they will never pay to bring a top flight proven coach to tennessee. As a result we will continue to be mediocre most of the time. There will of course be bright spots along the way but few and far between.

Some here are just whining.

It was a sloppy second half, mainly down the stretch. But it is also the first game, just now getting your basketball legs and knocking off some rust. We are also missing Maymon, this game would look a lot different with him there. They basically doubled and tripled Stokes and made someone else score, which we did just that for most of the game. Then we settled as we wound out some clock.

It will get better, I promise.

Actually I have considered being a big blue fan, but after 50 years of pulling for Tennessee It just aint never gonna happen. Or how about Bama in football, once upon a time I used to pull for them when they played teams out of conference. Then they acted so ****ty when Fulmer reported them for cheating, instead of acting like adults and taking responsibilty for their action they tried to blame the messenger. They're going to have to play at least the next month without him, so they'd better pick it up. Having Maymon would have helped, but the whole team just got lazy in the second half. With how intense CCM is, I hoped his attitude would have rubbed off on the team more after a full offseason of work.
