Just call it. At this point they wouldn’t start again till 8:30 CT at the absolute earliest. Start early tomorrow morning, like 10:00 AM and try and get as much in as possible before tomorrow’s rain comes.

There will be no baseball, just the inevitable gifting of a trip to Omaha to USM because they are the host team

There's a reason the University of Tennessee is in the Eastern time zone. And it's not just cause central sucks.

I am Never a fan of having a time zone boundary running THROUGH a state. For years I lived in Central Time but worked in Eastern. Always having to be on guard against time zone errors. Wore a dual time watch keeping hands on Central and digital on Eastern. Just a scheduling nightmare.

I always thought it would’ve made more sense to shift the ET/CT border westward to put metro Nashville, Alabama, and all of Florida on ET. It takes a sharp east/west bend through Kentucky which just looks weird

I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. It’s been hot all day, so more and more storms are going to pop up.l but it did look like a window clearing but that appears to have closed. The storms do appear to be shifting south now though, so they’re likely hoping 9:30ish we could resume play. No one wants to play in the morning and then turn around and play an elimination game right after. The right thing is to try and play it tonight so they’re probably trying to hold off as long as they can (all my opinions ofc).
