Actually, bars and restaurants are packed. I didn't meet a single USM fan leaving who thought there was any chance of them playing again tonight. Nobody there, Vol or USM, insofar as I know, heard a word about a later decision on play. The whole idea was to get to a restaurant before the bottom fell out of those clouds.

My guess is, and I haven't been following the radar like you guys, but if they can resume at 11:30PM, they'll resume at 11:30 PM.

What’s everyone opinion. Does it help us or hurt us to push the game to tomorrow?

It’s going to hurt whoever loses game one. Right now that’s tracking to be us. I look at it two ways. If our bats get hot, we could win game one and carry hot bats over immediately into a game two with a CWS on the line OR bats stay cold and we roll into an elimination game with our heads down and feeling like we can’t get a hit (and let’s not forget USM’s ACE is pitching game 2) Baseball is a finicky sport, but there’s a reason nearly 80% of teams who win game one end up headed to Omaha.
