One of the Committee members son plays at Southern Miss. Another member is the former AD at Southern Miss. Deck was clearly stacked against us. TN never had a chance.

USM has a better stadium and didn’t go 1-5 on the road against the bottom of their conference.

1-5 in the bottom of the conference has no bearing on this decision between the two. Now, if you say that 2-3 more wins means that we would have been a top 16 seed and hosted a regional, then fine. Although, in hindsight, that is debatable.

You are just picking out random stats. We have the better RPI, so there is that.

Update about tickets:

Ya know what this means, right? We’re gonna have to get there early, rig up a pulley system for the coolers, build some tree houses down the first base line, take pics (or it didn’t happen), make prostate jokes, and yell more Dongs…them dang Hattiesburg folks will be sheepish!

GBO!!!

We don't have an outfield that can sell 2k grass tickets...and they can't do it in the postseason. Their attendance for this series will not be a whole lot more than LNS.
They can, I just don’t think they can count it. Iirc before the new dude was built for Miss St, they still had people backing up pickup trucks to the outfield fence to BBQ and watch the games

They counted it against OM in the regular season last year. I will re-phrase- they are not selling them in the postseason. Just announced that no general public tickets will be sold.

The NCAA should make a sizable contribution to the special olympics, in Indiana State’s name. Apparently they have a huge special olympics event every year and this year it coincides with the Supers and that’s why they are not hosting.

Yes, Sireee

Yes the field was booked for a great cause,NCAA should move it too a neutral site when things like this comes up and give both teams equal ticket disbursement imo
