I would rather paly in Knoxville but overall I am very excited about playing Southern Miss. I know they are capable of beating the Vols but we should be favored and I like our chances to advance. Go Vols.

I think we win regardless of where the game is played? This team is growing and winning at Clemson contributed to our confidence, maybe another monkey off our back...the feel good story for So Miss was a little too much I guess....if I go I will probably commute from a Casino in Biloxi. 1 hour 15 min drive, no speeding.

And those games were in larger and more hostile places than the smaller stadium at USM against fanbases that ABHOR the Vols more than USM.

If Vols lose, it will not be due to several thousand fans.

So Miss makes it nearly impossible for visiting fans to attend their games.

Until I see or hear coach TV complaining about it I'm good with it. Just beat number 4 nationally ranked team on their home field and swept through that Regional,now there is no reason we cant go toHattiesburg and take ,,2 of three from a team in a definitely less superior conference.We have Superior pitching better offensive players and a great coach so what's the issues.

Southern Miss pitching breakdown best I can tell by their stats.

Best Pitcher Tanner Hall- RHP 2.08 ERA 12-3 on the season. bet he is their game one starter. Looks like a really good experienced starter to me.

Their other two regular starters are Niko Mazzza and Billy Oldham- Both RHP and both with ERA's over 4. Looks like a a drop off from Tanner Hall to these two.

They do have a couple of leftys that have started some games and have thrown significant innings for them in Kros Silvey and Justin Storm. Kros with an ERA of over 4 and Storm with an ERA OF 2.61.
