I do not know what to tell you and others if you have not see plenty of whining and bad taste from Vol fans. Not on here though, I have enjoyed the discussions and for the most part enjoyed the opinions and analysis brought forth. Oops....I said earlier this week I was moving on from these debates.....so I will.

So moving on and turning to tomorrow - I just cut the grass and on this night before the big game I am going to fix a bourbon or two or several, build a fire, and cheer for Indiana St and Oral Roberts, and against Florida. Going to wake up and coach some 11 year olds, most of who still do the Drew Gilbert after a double, with an 8 am first pitch. And will get ready for the road to Omaha to continue! (side note - I have to go to a wedding at 5, will it be bad taste to watch the game on my phone during the wedding?!?!?)

I wouldn't be at all bothered if the NCAA headquarters caved in on itself tonight.
I'd like to see the Vols put up 5 runs in the first inning and never look back and get a nice comfortable win.

Finally, the NCAA needs to be investigated by the Government Accounting Office and prosecuted for any number of things because after reading about their financial disclosure last night and how little money they claim to be receiving, they are easily in violation fraud and under reporting income and more.

Southern Miss is throwing Oldham Game 1 and saving Tanner Hall for Sunday!

I had a feeling that would happen with Hall pitching Monday after 120+ on Friday.

That means Hall would only appear in 1 game for sure. A game 1 win becomes even more important

Congratulations!!! This is amazing and really cool, if you had said you were getting married at 5 I would have wondered am I coming to your wedding (I know the bride).

I’ve been married for over 20 years and a Vol fan for over 40. My advice to you - you only get married once but you have the rest of your life to enjoy the Vols. May tomorrow be the best day of your life so far regardless of the outcome of the game. Let the game go and have a wonderful day! Game 1 is going to be so important. USM’s pitching is solid, but Tanner Hall is a huge piece of that. The rest of their stable of arms is just “fine” if you get past Hall. Easier said than done, but if we can knock hall out of the game early and do some damage, the pitching matchup swings heavily in our favor the rest of the weekend. We really need to get off to a quick start and get into their bullpen and not let Hall go deep in this game.

Thanks! This is number 2 for both of us, I made it 10 the previous time, she made it 20. We’re both older and wiser now, and really looking forward to our lives together. There’s only one thing wrong with her….she’s a Bama fan (and grad)

I agree, though the NCAA doesn't "bother" me; it's always been inconsistent, punitive & often corrupt. They've also made themselves insignificant & a joke in college sports. Yes, may the BaseVols jump on USM early & often tonight.
