I doubt seriously that he would announce today that he was waiting till spring and then announce tomorrow that he signed today. Even today's recruiting isn't that crazy.

JayVaughn is still very much considering Tennessee. In fact, I believe it's still his No. 1 school. There are a few issues that need to be taken care of. Lets just all be patient and see how this plays out.

At the time he told me he was 100% correct. Not even an hour after he told me NY Daily News broke the story about Pinkston signing with us. When Harris showed up that changed everything. Though Pinkston changed his mind my friend was not wrong until Harris scared him away.

Yes. I think Harris is all Vol, i think that's why Pinkston has decided to wait until the spring to sign. What i dont understand though is rivals at one time was reporting Harris & Pinkston talked alot about playing with each other but now everyone is saying Harris scared Pinkston away from Tennessee, & everyone is saying they wont go to the same school. I think our chances have droppped some on signing Pinkston in the spring but i wouldnt completely count us out.

Harris and Pinkston have never talked about playing together. Those rumors were false.

A lot of Pinkston's friends were encouraging him to sign with the Vols last night on his FB.

Thank's for clearing that up for me, i knew i had read they were talking somewhere & i couldnt understand why Harris would scare him off if they wanted to play together. But now i know why Lol.

Hmm I heard that they were talking about playing together but I do read a lot of boards so opinion vs fact gets confused sometimes haha.

Several writers on TOS reported this a while back. It's not unusual for their information to be wrong, haha.

I don't think he'll play the 3, but there is still a possibility he chooses UT in the end. Bruce just needs to show him how they would use him and Tobias together.

Yeah, I'd say JayVaughn will get more offers starting tomorrow. Not a bad idea for him to wait until the spring.

If we dont get Pinkston I think we go harder after Luke Cothron eventhough he is a NC State commitment. He is not signing early for some reason

I hate the one year NBA rule. It just screws up teams the next season like OSU after Oden left. Either let them jump from High School, or make it 3 years like the NFL

I agree the one-year rule is bad. What coach really wants a one-year player, or even two for that matter? I mean, if you're UNC or Kansas and Memphis under Calipari the Snake Oil Salesman and are loaded every year, then yea, a short-term stud can make a difference, but otherwise, no. Coach K does not recruit one-year and done ballers--has not for a few years after he got burned by a couple of kids--and while I think the blue devils have suffered a little bit for that decision, I certainly agree with it.
