Gee, I think there's a post somewhere in the archives about what would change Kimani Young's mind about Villanova being the "perfect situation" for Pinkston. That guy looks pretty smart about right now.

Tweets can be made to show as Facebook status updates simultaneously so that might have had something to do with the confusion.

all this speculation has me anxious. Tobias is not coming. he is lock to wear orange just not our uni's.

Pinkston better come. Too many articles saying this and that. Sign the paperwork and lets get started.

Honestly, I have no idea. Neither Pinkston or Harris ever declared a leader, or even gave information which would suggest a leader.

I'm like everyone else. If Pinkston decides to sign by the 18th on this month, I think he is a Vol. If he decides to wait until the spring, Tennessee's chances of landing him decrease significantly.

Per Rob Lewis today on TOS:

As I've said for a couple of weeks, I think there's a good chance that Pinkston signs early and that if he does it will be Tennessee. I don't know that we will hear anything before the weekend, but I continue to like Tennessee's chances.

Didn't read this on TOS... but my source is gold. He will sign on the 18th, which is definitely good for Tennessee.

Nice!! Thanks for posting. I'm guessing you haven't heard anything at all about Tobias have you? Man, this kid and his family sure have composure in this process. Kind of shows maturity I guess because I'd be excited as hell to tell someone. Can't believe nothing has leaked.

One can only hope Tobias brings the discipline he has shown throughout the recruiting process to his school of choice. I don't think there is any doubt this is a very mature kid.

His whole process throughout this does show a lot of maturity. That's why I was saying it probably didnt' matter if he did indeed announce and then sign later. Whatever school he picks, he's more than likely going to stick with it if the LOI comes later.

Tclowers, curious about Jayvaughn and wondered if you might be able to answer this. (or anyone for that matter)...I've seen reports that said he was 6'6, 6'7, and also 6'8. How big is he? Also, from what I've seen on him, seems like he can handle the ball pretty good. Do you see him playing a lot of 3? or would he need to better his ball handling?

JayVaughn is in the range of 6'6" or 6'7" (might be too generous). He's solid as a rock. Above-average ball-handling for a big man. Pretty good touch around the rim. Also, not a bad little jumper he has. He has a solid all-around game, but there's room for improvement.

His biggest asset is his ability to rebound. He may be undersized, but he is a fierce rebounder. I could be wrong, but I see JayVaughn playing mostly the 4 in Bruce's system.

I figured if we got Tobias than he would play a lot of 3. I knew he was solid as a rock and pretty aggressive but was curious about his ball handling skills and how big he actually is. Someone told me they seen him play in a tourney and thought he was a bit shorter than 6'6. Either way, I'm stuck on this kid coming here and how aggressive he is.

read on TOS today that Hubbs said we had a better shot of signing Harris than Pinkston on the radio today. They said Hubbs got his info from Lewis. Any truth to this??

Jayvaughn kinda reminds me of a Blair from pittsburgh except eith a better jumper and better ball handling but he will get in there and bang and get and ones and tons of put backs.

The good news is JayVaughn will be signing on the 18th, and not waiting until the spring signing period. This is huge for Tennessee.

He appears to be ALL VOL!
