So if we get this guy but not Harris what does our front line look like next year? I don't see a legitimate 5 man on the roster.

Kenny Hall will have to grow a set and be our 5 man next year unless Brian Williams decides he is gonna show up.

Basically if we get Harris and Pinkston, we are done, right? If we miss on Harris, is there anyone we go after- I would say they try to get Cothron no matter what happens IMO.

I was going to say Cothron. We will definitely give that one a shot if he becomes available. We will go after any quality centers available in the spring. Not only may Bruce not trust Williams but we aren't in good with many 2011 bigs either.

We may also go for a guard in the spring if we feel Hopson is leaving early.

I'm pretty sure Cothron is going to wait until the spring to sign and it's 100% on NCState. Also, I think there was academic issues or something. NO chance in hell Selby comes to UT. I wouldn't mind getting Black though but even that is a huge long shot.

Jayvaughn Pinkston, a 6-foot-6 forward from Bishop Loughlin, will announce his college choice Wednesday at Loughlin.
Pinkston, considered the top prospect in New York City, is considering Tennessee, Villanova, Seton Hall, St. John’s and Marquette.
“He hasn’t decided yet,” New Heights coach Kimani Young said. “He’s going to make his decision on Wednesday.”

Sweet. I heard he was signing early but hadn't seen anything saying he was.

Zagsblog is Hyams level credibility on the Tobias Harris recruiting saga. Now Adam is quoting Kimani as saying that JayVaughn has not made up his mind yet. I think he is angry because he has not been offered a job by any of those close by schools. Villanova and us (probably the final two for Pinkston) never thought about offering him a position.

The new NCAA rules state that a school can't offer a position to a coach of a player on the roster within 2 years of that player playing for the coach.

You can most certainly hire them. It just has to be in one of the three full time assistant coaching positions. No more hiring a guy's high school coach as the fifth assistant strength coach.

Zagora is not as reliable as some think. He is very biased towards certain programs both good and bad and it shows in a lot of his reporting. JMO.
