Is the risk worth the reward in this case, or will it without a doubt turn into Ramar Smith, 2.0?

Ramar was not dismissed until his second year. If you can get one good year out of Selby do you take that chance?

Moreover, there is the old story you hear of Ray Mears telling the team there are two sets of rules: One set of rules for Bernard, and another set for everyone else.

I'm not trying to be contrarian, just wondering.

I thought it might actually be even sooner. Every thing I gather says that Knight will announce in the next two weeks. Once he announces, I think it will set off a domino effect and people will start falling in place.

You would think that once either of them commits, the other is ready to make a decision.

Knight is KY bound. Selby will not go to KY. We have a chance for him, but it will likely be Kansas. I still think we need a post player more, but we sure wouldn't turn Selby down if he picked us.

Apart from me being an embarrasment and a moron, there is a ton of wrong info in this thread.....

Josh Selby will not be coming to UT. I'll bet anyone here anything on that.

I doubt he comes to Uk cause UK most likely gets Knight and can't take both....nor would Selby go to the same school as Knight.

And the dumb report about WWW's role in basketball is pure comedy. I love the part about giving Rose's mom 5k and pushing boosters toward him.....good stuff.

So I take it you aren't up for the bet?

I'm not trying to talk smack...I'm just being honest and telling you that UT isn't going to get Selby. Just not going to happen.

I told UT's staff back in April that Selby was looking to move elsewhere..... I was right then..... and I have a TON of respect for Pearl and Forbes.....

So, my remarks are to just not get your hopes up. Harris is a stud and one of my favorite recruits in this class...congrats on that huge get. But Selby won't be going to UT.
