Do we actually have a chance to get him back? I doubt it..Be sweet if we did though.
A rumor has been circulating that Selby is once again involved with Tennessee as a recruit. However, Selby's mother - Maeshon Witherspoon - emphatically shot down that rumor when Rivals.com spoke with her.
Witherspoon did shed a little light on how the rumor might have gotten started. "It's never been a secret that Coach (Steve) Forbes and I are great friends and will talk with each other," said Witherspoon. "But that doesn't mean in any way that Josh is going to end up there."
This thread is dead.
Per Jerry Meyer's Mailbag:
Yeah, but that doesn't mean we are out of it.
I think the odds are against us, but crazier things have happened. What started this whole thing was his mother saying that Tennessee wasn't off his list. So don't read too far into anything his mom says.
Rankin: Projecting where the top uncommitted prospects will end up - ESPNSelby could end up at Kentucky if Knight chooses not to go to the Bluegrass State. Also, with Sherron Collins and Jerome Dyson both seniors I see Kansas and UConn being right in the think of things. I think when it's all said and done, Selby will join fellow Baltimore native Roscoe Smith in Storrs where he would thrive in the Huskies' transition game and attacking half-court offensive that has produced great guards year in and year out. My Pick: Connecticut
i was listening to tony basilios interviews with tobias and jordan and tony asked both of them about selby wanting the staff to re-recruit him, any truth?
Visited Kansas over the weekend and didn't mention Tennessee in his top four.
