I think what your seeing is a case of Selby's mother being very politically correct in her statements. She has stated all along that just because they left Tennessee doesn't mean they "still aren't in the mix", they just wanted to look around again and make sure it was the right decision.
Reading between the lines, obviously he wasn't happy with his choice and wants to go elsewhere. Its just a matter of not making statements that will give away any intentions, one way or the other.
Unless some serious communication is going on that nobody knows about, UT is not a real player for Selby anymore.
OK chief. Whatever you say.
It's not what I say, it's what I know. No need to be a smartass. I'm not saying he'll end up at Tennessee, he may still end up about 3 or 4 different places but Tennessee is still very much in the picture. I would say if it weren't for a hurdle Tennessee would be solidly in the lead.

Selby is not going to UT. He and his mother are only interested in the best way to NBA dollars. This program and coach does not have a track record for putting kids in the NBA.
Life's mysteries are usually pretty easy to figure out. Just follow the money.
Selby starts in the fall of THIS year. But all that's going to change after Harris goes to the NBA. There will be CJ Watson, Chism, Harris, and maybe Hopson if he ever lives up to his potential.

Satisfying your recruiting fix doesn't really rank all that high up on my list.
I'm only posting as much as I'm able, not really terribly important to me if it is what you want to hear or not.

Do you actually have information when you post stuff like this?
I know some things yes. I just can't say any of them without getting my ass beat.
If there were someone on here I knew and/or trusted I would probably tell them who I am. Until then, I'll just hold onto my anonymity like the rest, and laugh when people like the Hardwood dude when they mock me.
I would say I'm more the Bud Fox type, only honest.
Might not be such a great comparison but all I can think of right now.
