Thats what everyone on other the boards seems to think. I don't understand why Pinkston would be afraid to play with Tobias. I will not be happy till Tobias puts an hat on.

More nervous than ever now.

They both play the same position and want to be the star. It would be very appropriate for Pinkston to re-think signing, if we truly are to sign Harris. I would love to have them both, but this seems to be logical on Pinkston's part.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Harris is supposed to be a one and done talent and Pinkston isn't. Is it really that big of a deal (from Pinkston's point of view) to have a one and done guy come in the same year as you since you are probably looking at being at Tennessee 3 or 4 years anyway?

I think Harris stays at least 2 years but I know I seen where he was practicing at the 3 so this still doesn't make sense. I was sure that we would get Pinkston. Now if Tobias pulls out another hat, this will be horrible lol. You'd have to go to war with a lot of other coaches for Pinkston now that he holds off till the Spring. A lot of other teams will jump in this mix now.

If we've learned anything in the last 24 hours it should be to not count our chickens. Basketball recruiting is even worse than football recruiting in that regard.

Interesting point from Syracuse board. His sister tweet about a "great basketball school" could easily mean UT. She is a women's basketball player. In her eyes it doesn't get much better than UT.

itll be really interesting. I think Pinkston is holding out because he wants to see where Tobias goes. Smart idea, just bad for us. I like him as a player, hes tough. GO HERE TOBIAS. ORANGE SCARES CALAPARI. ask derrick rose.

They are having a heart attack on tobais facebook. One guy said, "Good luck in Knoxville. Your probably not athletic enough to play in the big east." I hope we get him.

If Tobias Harris isn't athletic enough for the Big East then I hope those are the players Bruce Pearl continues to recruit. I'll take the Tobias Harris's of the world any day of the week.

On Syracuse's board they are all talking about him coming to UT...and it only makes sense that Pinkston did not commit because he knows Harris is coming to UT....Why else would he all of sudden wake up the next morning after he told people he was going to UT and then decide he was going to wait...?

FWIW, Gary Parrish said (on a radio show in Memphis) he would be very surprised if TH does not choose UT tomorrow.

i just found where this info came from. it is a thread on volquest titled espnu reporting tobias harris to tennessee. can some1 with a membership find out if it is true!?

The byline on ESPNU just says that he will announce at 6pm. It wouldn't make sense for them to announce his choice before airing it live.

yea i knew that he was announcing tomorrow but after my friend called and i saw the thread title i wondered if something might have leaked.
