I have a big problem with this thread. to call bruce pearl overrated.... why dont you just kick your self. hard.. real hard. that was the dumbest thing you have probably ever said on this board and thats saying alot. to actually fathom the thought that Pearl has not brought major change to this university over effin buzz peterson is crazy. do you remember the times with buzz? obviously you have become spoiled in the past two season with the fact we have been so fundementaly sound and so good that now we lose to two good teams and temple you want to call him an overrated coach. get out of here. you my friend no nothing about basketball and no nothing about the turnaround this man brought to our basketball team. we actually have fans in the stadium, we actually hang in games with top teams, he is a coach that will go out of his way to rep other programs and is willing to strip his shirt off, paint his body in support of tennessee, if only you were as loyal as this man was to our program.

haha this is comical. You guys need to see some Buzz Ball era game film to see how much better things still are. I think people are forgetting how young alot of the guys we rely on are and that we lost one of the best players in the country from last year.

I dont know why this season has been such a BIG SURPRISE to some people. While we all hope this team will go farther than last years it's not a given. When you have this many new faces on a team it will be different. I think some of these freshman are used to being the top dog from high school. It seems they sometimes feel entitled to winning and dont want to work hard to get that win.

Dear God that was a painful thing to watch. Losing to Nebraska by 15 in basketball sucked.

Bruce pearl is a good coach to you people because tennessee has never been a basketball school,he couldnt coach in the north carolina's etc.
