Who do we have already scheduled? Thank God that awful Oakland series is over and we are finished with Uconn and Pitt so who's left to return a home / away with? I think I remember Martin scheduling Wake Forrest for a home/away? Anyone else?

Nice. I wonder how many guys they have graduating this year? They really turned out to be a train wreck late in the season. I thought they would challenge in the ACC before the season started.

I'm really hoping Tennessee gets a nice preseason tournament next year. We've been on a roll lately with pretty nice destinations.

I hope Martin goes out and schedules some tough teams as Pearl did. That helps get u in the tourney when u beat a couple of those OOC foes and have a couple bad losses on your resume.

Disagree.

That's what hurt us IMO.

If you lose those games like we dd with some this year then you have to win almost all you others.

If we could trade both Memphis games, Pitt and the duke game, for 4 average wins we'd be dancing right now IMO.

If you schedule a lot of hard games it's good for your OOC rank, but if you lose all or most of them, you are in a bad spot.

I thought they cancled the Tiger High reunion. I'd love to play Syracuse at the Dome but hopefully when that happens, we'll learn how to play when teams zone us.

No pastner said they're gonna finish the series and not renew. They have to come here next year, that's the final year of the contract.

I disagree because if we would have beat C of C, Peay, and Oakland. We would have been in. We needed to win those games and those loses wouldn't have hurt us.

Good. I hope we beat the piss out of Memphis and someone throws down another JuJuan Smith 360 type dunk.

True.

But what happens in years like this that you lose a few of those?

My thought is that you can have a decent OOc rank, have a decent overall so because of the sec, and play decent teams OOC. Jmo

I guess what I'm saying is...it's easier to win the majority of your OOC games if they are against decent competition, than it is if 4 or 5 are against great teams and the others against decent and bad teams like this year

Whoever they schedule in the future should directly relate to anticipated RPI except for the obvious cream puffs that help them smooth out their performance.

I think two games with Missouri should add to the strength of schedule significantlly. However we will probably lose at least one of these, maybe both, depending on who they have coming back.

Two of the spots go to Missouri. And maybe one goes to Texas A/M

Missouri will be in the SEC east. So yeah we will play them twice. Texas A/M will be in the west. So we might play them once a year.

They said they're doing away with the west east scheduling I thought?

There is no longer east and west in BB.

There is no more SEC East / West Scheduling. The only games we can almost guarantee home / away with is Vandy and UK

I'm still curious how that will play out...

I find it absurd well have to play everyone once and uk, vandy and Florida all twice every year.

While teams like vandy could play us, Arkansas and ole miss for example.

Just no fair IMO. Also, how do you decide the rivals for Missouri and Texas a&m???

IMO it just needs to be play everyone once and rotate 3 teams home and away each year. That's th fairest way IMO.
