There are still people out there without homes or other shelter, and 97 people who haven't been found yet. (Plus 95 confirmed deaths.) Please keep them in your prayers.
@joevol33 I think he meant to tag you herePost a pic of dat Bunn too...
Since I’m furious about people spreading false information, I’ll practice what I preach. The threats to FEMA and other workers were from one guy with an assault rifle. The initial report of a truckload of dissidents was wrong. To add - there are still an amazing number of rescue and recovery people here - civilian and military, acres of parking lots filled with water tankers, porta potties, shower trailers, sleeping trailers, food. Military helicopters still going over our house 24/7. FEMA is everywhere, except in Rutherford County, where they and other R/R people were withdrawn after death threats from heavily armed militias, aka punks with weapons. Mission Hospital and several local schools drilled wells - with outside help - to restore working toilets,
PLEASE contradict the endless rumors - lies - about inadequate disaster relief. It is the ultimate cruelty to tell desperate people trying to survive that no one is coming to help them. I even had people in Greenville SC trying to tell me that we weren't getting help. We're better than this!
