Drove around. Didn't have any problems. Handled like a champ. Slush was a little slick sometimes but otherwise fine. Not really any ice like last Year

A buddy of mine is from Palestine TX and got into the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He had never seen more than a light dusting of snow. His dorm room was on the second floor and he said one night it started snowing and when they got up in the morning you could lean out his window and touch the snow. Holy cow. Most snow I ever personaly saw was in Feb one year heading to Lincoln, NE. I was 8th grade so maybe 1978. Dad had and interview at Nebraska. WE ran I-75 up to Evansville, IN and spent hte night there. Got up next morning to head west...car was literally half buried in snow drift. One side and over the top could not see. Get to Lincoln and riding around town sight seeing and browsing housing the snow is like 3 feet deep and they just snow blow all hte sidewalks and stuff. At roads edge you can't even see over the snow to the sidewalk. Don't know if that was a normal winter or what, but he stayed at UGA. Which was good, cause two years later he was put in charge of the Peanut CRSP USAID program as Director run through the university and got a healthy raise.
Easiest way to decide if you want to move to the Great Plains area is go in mid winter.
