The Open Championship

I hop mother*%@#in Padraig never ever wins another tournament.

I don't mind Paddy, I just keep waiting for him to reference Lucky Charms in his interviews.

I guess I was for the Shark, but I really didn't mind Harrington, and I wouldn't have been too upset with Choi or the amateur, either. I'm just glad it wasn't Poulter. Nobody with pink britches should ever be allowed to win a men's event.

did you see the dorky pants that sergio was wearing the last few days? they looked like fireman's pants that were too tight.

What is the deal with Euros and bad pants? It's like nobody over there has a mirror.

I dunno, and some of the guys on tour wear some nice threads. Some just never got the memo about not shopping at chuck e cheese for pants.

Honestly, I wasn't watching that closely. I don't actually recall seeing Sergio wear anything other than rain pants.

You have to admit one thing about the Shark. The dude does have some style.

It was interesting when he sat down by camillo on the 10th that they were wearing essentially the same thing.

Actually it was Titleist blades
when he rolled into the bigs he was hitting a mixed mag of Mizuno MP-29s and MP-14s. Kept them for quite a while.

In the end, it doesn't really matter. None of the big name companies really make their own forged heads any more. There are a handful of high end forging manufacturers and they make them for just about everyone. The designs come from the clubmakers, but the heads are made by generally the same folks.

Tiger's Nike blades today are the spitting image of the MP-9s that I started golf with and played for about 6 years. Still sweet clubs, but the short irons are pretty well worn out.
