Nike's The Opening 2014: OL/DL preview

Most Anticipated Matchups

Maea Teuhema vs Kahlil McKenzie
Teuhema may be the most naturally strong offensive lineman in the country. If he’s asked to move Kahlil McKenzie in the run-blocking session, that will be two NFL bodies butting heads. The earth will shake.

Drew Richmond vs Jashon Cornell
Richmond is a huge, athletic offensive tackle whose bend, flexibility and ability to get to the second level give him the ability to play tackle or guard on the next level. Cornell is an athletic defensive end that could end up at defensive tackle long term. Their complementary skill sets should produce some good battles inside.

Josh Sweat vs Chuma Edoga
Speed on speed. The most athletic defensive lineman in the country matches speed with the most athletic offensive lineman in the country. Both have a claim as the best overall athlete at The Opening.

He's just twice as good as everybody else.

Didn't say he threw WELL...just from both sides. :)

He kinda looked like a wide receiver being forced to throw passes fwiw...maybe he had gas. :stinker2:

He was working on a new play where we run a reverse with the TE throwing the pass.

Just imagine how he could throw on the run being ambidextrous! He would never have to throw against his body.

What if he could run backwards as fast as he could run forwards? Then he wouldn't need to be ambidextrous.

He manages to get 40 yards behind the LOS, very quickly...on a fairly regular basis...maybe he should turn his hindquarters in the direction of the end zone?

That might help.

I wonder if they counted the lateral and backwards and loopdyloop yards in his overall rushing stats for last year... :)

Why are the SPARQ scores so high lately? Is it simply because of over inflated times or did they make a change to the scoring system used? I don't remember the Peak Pwr being in there in the past.
